PCR = POST CONSUMER RECYCLING
PCR stands for post-consumer recycling. After a product has reached the end of its useful life, the material it is made of is recycled and used to manufacture new goods. The PCR material used in our production in Frauenfeld is recycled aluminum, which is made from recycled high-voltage wires, printing plates, etc. The aluminum comes from Europe and is known for its durability. The aluminum comes from Europe and is known for its durability and low loss of quality during the recycling process. It is also lightweight and therefore makes a sustainable contribution to reducing the CO2 footprint caused by transportation. Most importantly, a bottle made from PCR aluminum can be recycled after many years of use!

After just five uses, the bottle has a better average CO2 footprint than PET bottles. Like all our aluminum bottles, it is very light and robust, so it can be used for many years.
CO2 FOOTPRINT REDUCED BY 54 %!
According to calculations by ClimatePartner (a leading international consultancy in the field of climate protection, CO2 balancing, reduction and compensation), the CO2 footprint of aluminum bottles is 23% smaller than the CO2 footprint of stainless steel bottles (single-walled). In addition, the CO2 footprint of bottles made from PCR aluminum is 54% lower than the CO2 footprint of stainless steel bottles (single-walled).*
If reusable Water Bottles are also used instead of PET bottles**, aluminum bottles already have a better CO2 balance after the 8th use, and the PCR aluminum bottle has a lower CO2 consumption after only five uses.*
