KULT DESIGN

SIGG manufactures products that reflect the spirit of the times and at the same time set standards themselves. The unmistakable design of SIGG bottles has long since achieved cult status. This is confirmed by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which has two SIGG bottles in its permanent exhibition.

The design team in Switzerland is constantly developing new products, paying attention to constantly changing customer needs and new trends. The design process is divided into five phases. It begins with comprehensive research, particularly on two key questions: What is the customer's need? What features should the new product have in order to meet this need?

Once the answers to these questions have been found, the idea phase begins. This is when the first sketches and drafts of the new product are created. In the next step - the conception phase - the objectives are defined so that product development can then begin. Various solutions are developed and tested.

Once the decision for a product has been made, the next step is implementation, i.e. the project planning phase. And because SIGG sets the highest standards for design and quality, every product is checked by independent laboratories for compliance with all standards and regulations before it goes on sale. For this reason, the journey of a product from the initial idea to the first sale can take 18 months.
